This WebSite aims to provide useful information about Scoil Aodán Naofa, Carnew. You will find information about the policies and procedures, which we follow in our school. We endeavour to work in a spirit of partnership with you, the parents/guardians with a common goal in mind - to provide each child with the opportunities they require to learn and grow. If you are joining our school community for the first time - welcome. I hope our journey together will be a fruitful one.
May I take this opportunity to thank our existing parent body for their support and co-operation in the past. We look forward to working with you in the future.
Kevin O Donnell (Principal)
Carnew National School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Ferns. It sets out to impart a good knowledge of the Catholic faith to its pupils and to help them respect our heritage and culture. While doing so it also aims to nurture a tolerance and understanding of other cultures, traditions and religious beliefs.
It is the objective of the school that all the partners in education involving management, principal, staff, pupils and parents should foster a spirit of partnership and co-operation for the good of the school. We strive to create a school environment where both teachers and pupils achieve a sense of fulfillment.
